How we approach automation

Most automation projects flop for the same three reasons: they get built on messy data, they automate a broken process, or they reach for AI when a simple rule would have done the job. We run it in the opposite order — prove the money is there, fix the foundation, then build.

Six things we hold to

01

The audit comes before the invoice

We don't ask you to buy anything until we've shown you, in your own numbers, where time and money are leaking. No leak, no project — and we'll tell you that straight.

02

Fix the foundation before you build on it

Bolting automation onto scattered spreadsheets and copy-paste just makes the mess move faster. First we get your tools sharing one honest set of numbers.

03

We're not here to sell you AI

Plenty of the best fixes are boring — a shared form, a simple rule, two systems that finally talk to each other. We bring in AI when it earns its keep, not because it's this year's buzzword.

04

You sign off on anything that touches money

Software is great at the typing and the chasing and lousy at judgment. Wherever a slip would hit a customer, a payment, or your name, you stay in control.

05

Sometimes “leave it alone” is the answer

If the math doesn't pay back, we'll tell you to keep a process as it is and put your budget where it actually moves the needle. We'd rather lose the line item than waste your money.

06

You own everything we build

The code, the data, the accounts — all yours from day one. No license fees, no lock-in, no leverage held over your business.

Three steps from manual to running on its own

Always in this order. Each phase leaves you with something useful in hand, even if you decide to stop there.

01

Audit

Get into the data. Watch the real workflow.

We start by looking, not pitching. We get into your actual systems and sit with your team to see how the work really moves — where it stalls, where it gets re-typed, where jobs and dollars slip through the cracks.

You get: A plain-English map of your operation with every bottleneck and leak marked, and a real number on what each one costs you every month.

02

Strategy with clear ROI

Rank the fixes by payback, not by hype.

Every problem the audit turns up goes through our five-question step test, then we stack-rank the fixes by what they'll save against what they'll take to build. No 40-page strategy deck — a short list with dollar figures next to it.

You get: A prioritized roadmap, each fix scored on payback versus effort, biggest and safest wins first, with a real return attached to each.

03

Implement

Build the top win, prove it, move down the list.

We build the highest-payback, lowest-risk fix first, with your sign-off points wired in, and we measure it against the baseline from the audit so the savings aren't a guess. Then we move to the next one. You own it as we go, and we stay on for 30 days after launch to make sure it sticks.

You get: A working automation with your checkpoints in place, proof of what it saved against your starting numbers, and the next fix queued up.

Every step gets one of five verdicts

Inside the strategy phase, every step in your operation runs this gauntlet, in order, and comes out with a verdict. Notice that "buy new software" isn't one of them.

01

Scrap it

Does this step earn its place, or is it just habit?

Plenty of steps survive only because nobody ever stopped to ask. If cutting it changes nothing, it's gone — the cheapest win there is.

02

Trim it

Can this run with fewer hands and fewer hand-offs?

Before a line of code gets written, we straighten the process itself, so we're not paying to automate a detour.

03

Run it without you

Can software carry this one from start to finish?

When it can, it should just happen quietly in the background — and your team gets that time back for good.

04

Speed up the human part

If a person truly has to do it, can we get it to a glance and a click?

The system does the gathering and the first pass; your people just check it and hit go.

05

Make it visible

What is this step quietly tracking that you've never been able to see?

We turn the byproduct of the work into a live number on a screen, so you run on facts instead of gut.

Everything we build is yours to keep — the code, the data, the logins. No monthly license to us, and no being held hostage by your own software.

Start with the audit

The first phase is free. We look at your data, map where it breaks, and tell you honestly what is worth automating — and what is not.
